Sea Turtles Raku Urn

Cream sea turtles swim across the rich blue and copper glaze of the Sea Turtles Raku Urn, a peaceful tribute for someone who loved the ocean, crowned with a wood lid.

Each raku urn is hand-glazed and fired, so the colors and crackle patterns on yours will be completely its own.

Engraving is available (up to 120 characters) to add a name, dates or a short message.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size urn do I need?

A common guideline is one cubic inch of capacity for every pound of body weight before cremation, so a 220 cubic inch urn like the Sea Turtles Raku Urn generally fits an adult who weighed up to about 220 pounds.

What is raku pottery?

Raku is a firing technique where pottery is taken from the kiln while still glowing hot and placed in combustible material. The smoke and rapid cooling create the metallic colors and crackle patterns that make each piece unique.

How do I care for a ceramic urn?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which can dull the glaze.

How quickly will my urn ship?

Orders placed by 1:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, ship the same business day. For engraved orders, the engraving proof needs to be approved by 1:00 PM CST to ship that day. Orders completed after the cutoff ship the next business day. Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
